Ingredients
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 2 clove garlic, minced
- 4 cup collard greens, chopped
- 1 cup tomato, diced
- 0.50 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 0.50 cup water or broth
Steps
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat and saute onion and garlic until soft.
- Add chopped collard greens and stir to coat.
- Stir in tomato, chili (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Pour in water or broth, cover, and simmer until greens are tender, about 10 minutes.
